Today at 4:00 PM EST Heather and I embark on our epic adventure. I’m nervous and anxious and a little sad and super excited to make our way across four continents and 16 countries. We may have squeezed way too much into our itinerary and made too many last minute preparations and I don’t even want to talk about the states of our bulging backpacks (Heather packed two different types of frizz control)… but Paris here we come!
Last night close friends gathered at Heather’s apartment for wine and cheese and teary goodbyes. It was a lovely send-off and I think I speak for both Heather and I when I say we will miss the hell out of you guys. Hold down the fort in Brooklyn while we’re away.

Heather ….have a fantastic time!!! You so deserve this after all the long hours and hard work you have done. Be safe…take lots of pictures and enjoy every minute of your 9 month vacation! We love you!
